Creative Venture #3

I am playing puppets with myself and
I could break you if I wanted to you know.
Pulling taut the strings that control the hands
Darling - I know how you like the show.
Little children know the games they play
In spider webs of gossamer ice.
Punch and Judy. Circus Master kept at bay.
Promise I'll be extra specially nice,
Pushing buttons ticking boxes/clock
Whimper puppy, learn to use those blue eyes,
Voice of silence titters, whispers, brays, mocks,
Feel the hairs stand up upon your cold thighs.
If only you knew how to pull my strings tight
I could bend you, break you - darling, I still might.

A poor and loose early attempt at a sonnet.
